Nippers
Beach Bar & Grill – It's Not In the Brochure!
Welcome to Nippers Beach Bar & Grill! Located on Great Guana Cay, the
largest of the cays in the chain of islands off the shore of Great Abaco,
Bahamas. Nippers Beach Bar & Grill is one of the most famous
all-ages hot spots in all of the Abacos.
You may have read about Nippers in travel magazines, seen photos on
calendars, or perhaps even seen a documentary on the Discovery Channel
-- but you'll never read about Nippers in any travel brochure.
Why? Simply, because this particular piece of paradise can't be
adequately described in any number of words or photographs. You simply have to experience it for
yourself.

| Perched high upon a forty-foot dune,
Nippers overlooks the Great Abaco Barrier Reef. Large, branching
formations of Elkhorn Coral with medium to large Brain and Star Coral
tumble down the inside of the world's third largest barrier reef.
Beach entry is only a few stair steps away, allowing snorkelers and
scuba divers some of the very best access in all of the Abacos to this
well-developed reef system that starts less than fifty feet from shore,
and rises from a depth of about forty feet to within inches of the
surface. |

| The visibility of the turquoise seas will astound you. If you
prefer to stay near the shore, you'll also find more than seven miles of
powder-soft pinkish sand and clear aqua water. And if the beach
doesn't beckon, enjoy a leisurely float in Nippers' two-level swimming
pool and pool bar, and the company of great music and good friends. |

Hungry after all that swimming?
Walk upstairs to one of two viewing and dining areas and be blown away
by 360-degree views of the Island at fifty-five feet above sea
level. Nippers offers lunch
and dinner seven days a week, three hundred and fifty days a
year. Or have a seat at the bar where you'll still have an
incredible view, along with the chance to meet the locals and visiting
family and friends, or Nippers' own Troy, Johnny, and
Jennesse.
Take your shoes off and feel the sand under your feet while you soak in
those famous tunes and share stories of Island life, treasure, and
adventure. |

| Your quest for paradise ends with your
discovery of Great Guana Cay. This lightly inhabited island of
fewer than one hundred ten full-time residents can serve up your entire
out island needs. Visit, Fig Tree Wine and Spirits, Sylvain's
grocery store, Milo’s Shop, Tommy's T-Shirts and Nippers, all within
easy reach of Guana's public dock. Though the island has no
airstrip, it's easily reached by boat or ferry service from Marsh
Harbor. If you have your own vessel and want to spend the night or
longer, you can drop anchor in the harbor or hook up on a buoy or dock
in a marina.
